Hazy Portraits

Hazy Portraits, the alternative rock four-piece from Berkeley, California, create a nostalgic collision of ’90s grit, Y2K cool, and late-night rock ’n’ roll energy. With a sound that drifts between shimmering shoegaze, sharp indie rock, and explosive guitar-driven anthems, the band captures the feeling of a night that you know you’ll never quite remember the same way twice.

Led by Luis on lead guitar and vocals, alongside Nick on guitar and vocals, Van on bass, and Joel on rhythm guitar, Hazy Portraits bring together a sound that feels both familiar and entirely their own.

Their layered guitars, driving bass lines, and infectious rhythms create a wall of sound that feels equally suited for a packed basement, a sweaty club, or the soundtrack to a reckless night out. Luis and Nick trade vocal duties, adding contrast and personality to their songs while Joel’s rhythm guitar and Van’s bass keep everything moving underneath the noise.
Hazy Portraits is the soundtrack to the night you wish you could rewind. Somewhere between shoegaze daydreams, indie rock swagger, and pure rock ’n’ roll chaos.
